  •  January-June 2010 – 1st Phase

    • Spain was hosting the EU Presidency with the Subject “Youth Social Inclusion through Employment”

    • Poland was hosting the EU Presidency with the Subject “Mobility of and cooperation between young people from the EU and EU neighbouring countries”

  • January – July 2015 – 2nd Phase:

      • Latvia  hosted the EU Presidency with focus on Youth Participation

 

5th Cycle: Enabling all young people to engage in a diverse, connected and inclusive Europe. Ready for life, ready for society

  • January – July – 1st Phase:

      • Holland hosted the EU Presidency, and the EUYC focused on defining the guiding framework on how to enable all young people to be engage in a diverse, connected and inclusive Europe.

      • Slovakia hosted the EU Presidency, and the EUYC focused on drawing recommendations from the consultations with young people on how to enable all young people to be engage in a diverse, connected and inclusive Europe.

6th Cycle: “Youth in Europe: What’s Next?”

  • July to December – 1st phase
    • With Estonia holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU, youth representatives and decision-makers met at the EU Youth Conference in Tallinn, to focus on what is really important for young people nowadays, and how they want to see the Europe in the future. The discussions at the Youth Conference informed formation of the guiding questions. For the first time in the SD, two youth researchers from the EU-CoE partnership have joined the process, and working with National and European Working Groups to run the consultations.
