Informal Young Migrant Platform Launched to Bridge European Representation Gap
Young_MigrantThe European Youth Forum (YFJ) has launched an informal platform to represent young migrants and young people with migrant background. This is only the beginning! The Youth Forum will facilitate the start up of the platform, coordinating the open and initially informal process. The platform should also address the existing representation gap of young migrants and young people with migrant background at the European level.

Based on the YFJ 2009 – 20010 Work Plan, the platform will strive to achieve greater participation and inclusion of young migrants and young people with migrant background. First of all, by strengthening the voices of young migrants and young people with migrant background and their capacity to advocate for improving their fundamental rights. Secondly, the Youth Forum aims at achieving greater inclusiveness of its Member Organisations by in particular building their capacity to reach out more to young migrants and people with migrant background.
