YFJ Pool of Trainers meeting, 10-11 May, Rijeka, Croatia
The YFJ Pool of Trainers (PoT), along with experts in different fields of youth work and youth training from across Europe, are meeting on 10-11 May in Rijeka , Croatia .
The purpose of the meeting is to exchange experiences and work on a series of guidelines, developed by a PoT sub-group earlier this year, on how training methodologies can foster inclusiveness.
Furthermore, the YFJ PoT and the representative from the Trainers' Pool of the Council of Europe will discuss how to strengthen their cooperation. The participants will also be informed about current developments in the training area at European level, paying special attention to the discussions on the preparation by the Council of Europe – EU Partnership of a policy framework on ‘Training for Trainers'.
The European Youth Forum has just adopted a policy paper on ‘Youth training - the sustainability of youth organisations through volunteering', which will be another topic for a fruitful debate among experts gathered in RIjeka .
