European Youth Portal Launches New Structured Dialogue Page
After successful cooperation working closely with Eurodesk, the European Youth Forum is pleased to announce that the much anticipated pages for the structured dialogue with young people are now available on the European Youth Portal.
Split into two levels, the new European page provides links to the latest political outcomes of the process, whereas national level pages allow young people and stakeholders to access their countries' consultation reports and to contact their National Working Groups.
Now in its second 18-month cycle, the structured dialogue is a space for young people and policy makers to discuss and feed into EU youth policy at both national and European levels together.
The overall priority of the current cycle is youth participation in democratic life, with the Danish Presidency currently focusing on aspects of creativity and innovation in this area.

Member Organisations help draft Strategic Priorities for the next six years
Today, member organisations of the European Youth Forum are meeting to discuss their vision for the strategic priorities platform for the next six year cycle (2013 – 2018). The strategic priorities detail what and how the European Youth Forum is going to work to empower young people.
Drafting the strategic priorities is at the core of the democratic and participatory approach of the European Youth Forum. In the consultation, the Youth Forum gathers input from its member organisations on how to best shape the specific focuses of the strategic priorities. These strategic priorities will be officially adopted at the Extraordinary General Assembly which will take place on 19th-22th April in Brussels.
The current strategic priorities (2007-2012) fall under the umbrella of five categories: Education, Youth Work Development, Employment and Social Affairs, Human Rights, and Participation and Youth Policy Mainstreaming. These are areas the Youth Forum wants to help influence by way of the work plan, which is drafted every two years with specific objectives that enable the Forum to implement these priorities.
