Today, member organisations of the European Youth Forum are meeting to discuss their vision for the strategic priorities platform for the next six year cycle (2013 – 2018). The strategic priorities detail what and how the European Youth Forum is going to work to empower young people.
Drafting the strategic priorities is at the core of the democratic and participatory approach of the European Youth Forum. In the consultation, the Youth Forum gathers input from its member organisations on how to best shape the specific focuses of the strategic priorities. These strategic priorities will be officially adopted at the Extraordinary General Assembly which will take place on 19th-22th April in Brussels.
The current strategic priorities (2007-2012) fall under the umbrella of five categories: Education, Youth Work Development, Employment and Social Affairs, Human Rights, and Participation and Youth Policy Mainstreaming.
