Employment and Inclusion in Times of Crisis: The Youth perspective

March 22-23, Brussels


The European Youth Forum is organising a two-day event on Youth employment and social inclusion of young people in cooperation with the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee. What will Europe look like in 50 years? How is Youth today contributing to the Europe of tomorrow? What kind of policies should be implemented to ensure social inclusion of young people?… Register to these two-day discussions to take part actively to the debates! The event will take place on March 22nd and 23rd at the European Economic and Social Committee.

On the first day, you will have the opportunity to participate to workshops to discuss with experts, officials from the European Commission and young people:

-Parallel workshops from 2.30 to 4.00 pm:

(i) the Youth Guarantee

(ii) Apprenticeships

-Parallel workshops from 4.00 to 5.30 pm:

(i) ‘young refugees and social inclusion’

(ii) Social protection for young people

On the Second day, from 10.00 to 12.30 young people will share their ideas with high-level policy makers and to challenge them during a plenary session about “challenges for youth in a changing Europe: what will Europe look like in 50 years?”.
