Fighting #ForYouthRights on a global scale...

The Youth Forum at the UN

The European Youth Forum works to bring the voice of European youth into global discussions at the United Nations.

From sustainable development and human rights, to issues of peace and security, the Youth Forum works together with our partners around the world to shape these discussions and keep current and future generations of young people high on the agenda!

Throughout our history we have been interacting with the UN in many ways - advocating for more youth participation, working with UN agencies, funds and programmes in their interaction and focus on youth, as well as engaging in intergovernmental processes leading to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on youth.

The Youth Forum also works closely with the ILO on issues of youth employment, social protection and the future of work,  engages with the work of the Third Committee of the General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council (particularly the ECOSOC Youth Forum, the Commission for Social Development and the High-Level Political Forum for Sustainable Development) and the Human Rights Council.

We are also proud of our current partnership with UNHCR for the pilot European Youth Initiative Fund! Learn more about this and more below!
