Council of Members, April 2019
According to the European Youth Forum Statutes, the Council of Members defines the policies, vision and direction of the platform, based on the guidelines set by the General Assembly. It is a space for exchange, cooperation and network amongst the different members of the Youth Forum. The Council of Members meets twice a year during the years where there is no General Assembly and once a year during the year where there is a General Assembly.
Either as a representative from a National Youth Council (NYC) or from an International Non-Governmental Youth Organisation (INGYO), you are here to make your voice heard and to decide on the positions and everything in the interest of the European Youth Forum.
This website will be regularly updated in order to inform delegates about all you need to know. Should you need further information, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
During the next Council of Members meeting, Member Organisations will elect and appoint the members of the following bodies:
- The Council of Europe Advisory Council on Youth - AC (20)
- The European Youth Forum Financial Control Commission - FCC (1)
All information about the elections can be found on the elections website, which will be regularly updated.
On Thursday 11th April, the European Youth Forum will organise a reception with a debate for the European Elections 2019. The event will bring together our members, civil society partners, and representatives of the main European political parties, and will be an opportunity for our MOs to engage with them and to get their responses to the European Youth Forum's policy platform ‘10 Ideas to #YouthUP Europe'. We will also use the event to present and launch the European Elections programme comparison tool, as well as other European Elections campaign materials.
More information will be available soon!
Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility are important values of the European Youth Forum. During this COMEM we will ensure that our practices and tools can accommodate diversity of circumstances, identities and ways of life. Delegates can also help us to achieve this and make the COMEM a friendly and inclusive space.
Don't forget that all European Youth Forum activities take place within the framework of our Code of Conduct. Check out the video presenting it!
