European Youth Capital

The European Youth Capital (EYC) title is awarded to a different European city each year by the European Youth Forum.

The winning city holds events and projects throughout the year designed to demonstrate the active, essential role that young people and youth organisations play in society. Find out all about the European Youth Capital here!

The current European Youth Capital for 2020 is Amiens, France.



European Youth Capital Policy Toolkit

This toolkit aims at supporting European Youth Capitals in such an important policy coordination exercise. In line with the European Youth Forum’s goal of mainstreaming youth across different policy areas it is also important to take a consideration other important policies and trends such as human rights cities, sustainable development, building inclusive societies etc.
