Adam Elsod is an educator, campaigner, and social entrepreneur. He is a member of the youth advisory council of the Council of Europe. Adam has 12 years of international experience advising institutions and organizations in more than 20 countries in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe, on issues related to strategy, learning, advocacy, youth participation and inclusive governance. Adam is a co-founder of The Young Republic, a youth organization aiming to build inclusive democracies in Europe through fostering political participation and social inclusion of young refugees. Adam is the founder of Civic&Co, a training and consulting firm that provides learning solutions for sustainable change. it has provided services to several institutions and organizations like: the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the British Council, the European Commission, the Council of Europe, the Open Society Foundations to name a few.
Elin has held commissions of trust within the youth movement on a local, regional, national and international level. Her main focus as a leader within the youth movement and professionally has been to further human rights, equality, and humanitarian principles through advocacy and legal tools. She is a lawyer specialised in international law and has a bachelors degree in gender studies. She has most recently worked with youth, peace and security, LGBTQI and women's rights.
Eliza works with organisations, companies and institutions around the world who need professional training, capacity building, consultancy, educational design, organisational development, conference facilitation, project, grant or event management. She has expertise in youth policy, youth work, participation, diversity & inclusion and intercultural dialogue. She has leadership experience in a number of national and international organisations and have thorough understanding of international relations within the EU and in cooperation with Africa and the Mediterranean. She's the founder of 3 NGOs including the National Youth Council of Hungary, she was member of the Advisory Council on Youth and worked in the secretariat of the European Youth Forum as coordinator of the Yo!Fest.
Igor has an extensive experience in the youth sector, leading youth structures like National Youth Council of Moldova, Students Alliance of Moldova, Youth Development for Innovation Foundation, Resource and Information Center PRO BONO. He is providing consultancy and research services for national and international stakeholders in the field of youth rights, organizational development, youth participation, lobby and advocacy, fundraising and project management. Member of numerous governmental and international working groups on different youth issues and development of the youth work and the youth sector.
Ilaria Esposito works as programme director at Start Easy Ltd - a consulting social enterprise with expertise in the social and youth sector. Ilaria has conceptual and practical knowledge, facilitation skills and training experience on participatory processes promoting Non formal and Human Rights education and Learning, and tackling hate speech, conflict transformation, counter and alternative narratives, racism, multiple discrimination, gender issues, campaigning and activism. When it comes to youth policy development, Ilaria can count on her expertise on functionality of the European institutions such as the Council of Europe and the EU, their structures, ways of working and making /implementing legislation and policies. She has personal and professional experience in advocating for access to human rights and specifically social rights. She has worked for the NYC in Italy as coordinator of the Pool of trainers and its a former member of the Advisory Council on Youth at the Council of Europe. For Ilaria volunteering is paramount and she has been doing it for the scouts and guides organisations for more than 15 years and loves to volunteer in the her local community as group leader.
Lana Pasic is a Researcher and Development Consultant in the area of youth participation and citizenship, governance, youth in post-conflict transition contexts, prevention of youth radicalisation, education, inequality and inclusion. She holds MPhil degree in Development Studies from the University of Oxford, Joint European MA in Comparative Local Development from the University of Trento, Italy and BAdmin (Hons) in International Relations from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Lana is a member of the Pool of European Youth Researchers (PEYR) with the Partnership between the European Commission and the Council of Europe in the field of youth. She has consulted with various international and non-governmental organisations, including UNICEF, UNDP, Oxfam, Save the Children, and European Youth Forum and SALTO SEE, and has worked with young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, South-East Europe, Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Tamara has 14 years of experience in civil society development – from working on local community level, being representative of civil society in city council as we as local parliament to developing policies on European level. Tamara has experience of working in public sector and managing 30+ people teams. She has been Secretary General of Youth for Exchange and Understanding (YEU) for 7 years and involved in the work of European Youth Forum even longer. Her work is focused on project management and assessment, advocacy work and organisational management. Tamara has significant experience in cooperation and working with governments/municipalities as well as in cross-sectoral cooperation.
Valentin has been working and volunteering for over 10 years in European youth, education and sport organisations. He has been in particular engaged in the Erasmus Student Network and more recently with JEF Europe as Secretary General. He has been supporting the work of the European Youth Forum in different areas (youth policy, future of Erasmus+). He worked as Development Director of Fondation EURACTIV.
