The Secretariat is the permanent structure of the Forum. It is composed of employees under the supervision of the Secretary-General. The Secretary-General is accountable for the Secretariat to the Board and the General Assembly.

The Secretariat ensures the implementation of the decisions of the Board, based on the guidelines of the member organisations via the General Assembly and the Council of Members.

The Secretariat is permanently based in Brussels and is open on every working day.
