Working together for a better ESC!
The European Youth Forum, the Permanent Representation of Finland to the EU, and the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union co-organised in the evening of 6th September a reception on the European Solidarity Corps.
This event took place with the presence of 70 representatives ranging from members of the Youth Working Party, the European Parliament and European Commission as well as member organisations of the European Youth Forum, Erasmus+ YiA national agencies and other stakeholders and civil society and with interventions by:

Ms. Ülly Enn, Counselor for Youth Affairs, Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU
Ms. Anna Widegren, Secretary General, European Youth Forum

During the evening, the guests were invited to discuss in an informal context questions related to the implementation of the ESC, to the transition from EVS to the new ESC and how to make sure that the new programme reaches out to all young people and achieves its objectives of promoting solidarity and social change in Europe.

The Youth Forum also had the opportunity to share with the people present its newest board position on the ESC which was very well received by participants. We look forward to continuing the cooperation with all stakeholders in this process and let’s all work together for a better ESC!
