The Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations is an International Non-Governmental Youth Organisation (INGYO), founded in 1982 to promote intercultural education, global understanding and peace through International Voluntary Service. The network has 85 member, partner and guest organisations, that run an annual programme of international volunteer projects in their own country and exchange volunteers worldwide, ensuring high quality standards in the activities implemented.
