Young people are not only leaders of the future but active participants today. Their perspectives and engagement are crucial for democratic, resilient and inclusive societies. Youth participation strengthens democratic legitimacy, trust in institutions and long-term civic engagement.

Artificial intelligence has already transformed education across Europe, with young people widely using generative AI tools. Yet schools have largely failed to respond, while AI’s impacts on environment, mental health, media and society remain underdiscussed.

There is no future without young people, participation, and activism. In times of crisis, we must listen to communities and minorities to build a continent and world where everyone can prosper and live in equal, peaceful societies.

The European Youth Forum recognises the urgent need to protect youth rights and support young political prisoners in Belarus, calling for their immediate release and emphasising international solidarity and cooperation to promote human rights and democracy.

United Nations Youth Delegates (UNYDs) and the European Youth Forum advocate for meaningful youth engagement in all policy areas. This motion supports enhancing coordination between UNYDs, YFJ, and European countries to amplify youth voices and ensure strong, unified impact in UN policymaking.

The European Youth Forum recognises the urgent need to protect youth rights and support young political prisoners in Belarus, stands in solidarity with RADA and pledges to support their efforts.
