The International Federation of Training Centres for the Promotion of Progressive Education (Ficeméa) is a global network of 42 member organisations across Europe, South America, Africa, and the Indian Ocean. Founded in 1954, it promotes active education methods aimed at lifelong individual emancipation and democratic citizenship. Ficeméa supports its members through training, advocacy, and international cooperation to transform educational and social practices worldwide.
