Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organisations (FEMYSO)
International Non-Governmental Youth Organisation - Observers
FEMYSO is the leading voice of
Muslim youth in Europe. As a pan-European
network of 30 Member Organisations across 22
countries, FEMYSO empowers young Muslims
through civic engagement, leadership
development, and active participation in society,
ensuring their perspectives shape
decision-making at national, European, and
international levels. Guided by its mission to support and connect
Member Organisations, FEMYSO represents
European Muslim youth while fostering their
potential through skill development and
collaboration. The organisation works across
four main pillars: representation, campaigning,
networking, and training. It addresses a wide
range of contemporary issues, including artificial
intelligence and digital rights, environmental
justice, youth and student rights, mental health,
and social inclusion, equipping young Muslims to
actively contribute to society and become
changemakers.
FEMYSO maintains strong relationships with key
European and international institutions, including
the European Parliament, European Commission,
Council of Europe, OSCE, and the United Nations,
and works to realize its vision of a diverse,
cohesive, and vibrant Europe where Muslim youth
are empowered as active contributors and
catalysts for positive change.
