Meet our new Secretary General

Milosh Ristovski is the European Youth Forum's new Secretary General. He will start his work on Monday, 20th of March.

Today the European Youth Forum's member organisations appointed our new Secretary General, Milosh Ristovski. Milosh has over ten years of experience in organisational and project management, including extensive work, activism and volunteering in the youth sector.

Milosh started his professional career in the Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) of North Macedonia, first as a programme coordinator and later as the executive director. On a European level he also served as a project coordinator in Out of the Box (OTB) International and the Secretary General of the Young European Federalists (JEF) Europe. He is passionate about youth rights, education, digitalisation, innovation and European integration.

Milosh is the first Secretary General of the Youth Forum coming from the Western Balkans, since the Forum was established in 1996.

The British Youth Council is one of the longest standing National Youth Councils in the world. Its would leave the UK as one of the few countries in Europe without a representative and youth-led National Youth Council. We therefore call upon the British government to do whatever is necessary to guarantee the UK does not lose its National Youth Council structure.
