Strengthening the EU Youth Strategy and the EU Youth Dialogue
With the current EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 coming to a close, the next 2028 EU Youth Strategy must move from ambition to delivery - ensuring that youth participation, mainstreaming and support translate into real impact on young people’s lives. This paper sets out how to achieve this through a stronger strategic framework, clearer governance of participation mechanisms, and a more effective EU Youth Dialogue.

Youth Progress Index 2025
This fourth edition of the YPI is the largest source of youth relevant data globally. It analyses trends across 3 billion young people and 169 countries, using more than 60 social and environmental indicators. Uniquely, the report applies a rights-based approach to these quantitative indicators, showing the extent to which youth rights are enjoyed globally, and showcasing areas which need urgent political commitment and change. The Protection of Youth Freedom of Expression and Solidarity with Enes
In February 2026, the main trial of Enes Hocaoğulları — a Youth Delegate to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe — will take place, following politically motivated charges related to his public statements delivered within an official Council of Europe setting.
