EU budget to real life: jobs, education & you

10/06/2026 | Online

The Youth Guarantee aims to ensure that all young people have access to employment, education, or training - but how does this translate into practice? This session looks at how the Youth Guarantee connects to the EU’s long-term budget and what it means for young people across different contexts.

What to expect?

Through practical examples from EU and national contexts, you will learn how to:

  • Understand what the Youth Guarantee is and how it is implemented in different countries

  • Explore how it is supported through the EU’s long-term budget and funding instruments

  • Connect the policy to young people’s real-life experiences and local realities

  • Reflect on ways to engage young people in discussions about employment, education, and opportunities

The session will also provide space to explore the challenges and opportunities in making policies like the Youth Guarantee meaningful and accessible on the ground.

Who is it for?

This session is open to anyone interested in youth employment, social policy, or advocacy. It welcomes young people, practitioners, and those working on participation or inclusion- whether you are experienced or just getting started, and whether you work at EU, national, or local level.

This event is organised as part of the European MOSAIC project.
