From policy to youth and back: translating information and data

20/05/2026 | Online

EU policies can often feel distant, technical and difficult to relate to. This interactive session explores how to translate complex policy topics into engaging and accessible discussions that connect with young people in their everyday realities.

What to expect?

Through real-life examples from EU, national, and local contexts, you will learn how to:

  • Understand and simplify complex policy topics
  • Make policies relevant to your own experiences and community

  • Share ideas and perspectives in a way that decision-makers can understand and act on

The session will also look at how to bring young people’s perspectives back into policy discussions in a way that decision-makers can understand and use.

Who is it for?

This session is open to all young people interested in having their voice heard and learning more about how policies affect their lives. It also welcomes those working in advocacy, participation, or consultations. You can join whether you are experienced or just getting started, and whether you work at EU, national, or local level.

This event is organised as part of the European MOSAIC project.
