The Cyprus Youth Council (CYC) was established in 1996 and serves as the official platform for representing youth organisations in Cyprus. It acts as the coordinating body with the government and as the official institution representing organised youth organisations in international and European forums. Mission and Vision of the CYC: - Acts as a communication platform for all youth organisations in Cyprus. - Organises events, seminars and workshops to provide member organisations with opportunities to exchange best practices and experiences on youth-related issues. - Serves as an information hub for its members, facilitating participation in European programs and international conferences. - Leads the implementation of the EU Youth Dialogue, promoting the engagement of all young people in Cyprus in decision-making on youth issues. - Represents the collective positions of organised youth groups and advocates for policy changes on various youth-related matters, such as employment...
