Call for Young Graphic Designers

We are launching a call to refresh the visual identity of the European Youth Capital. We are seeking talented young designers or creative collectives from across the EU to design a fresh, impactful and relevant visual identity that will enhance the title, while ensuring coherence with the overall visual style of the European Youth Forum.
Project structure:
1. Call for Portfolios & Shortlisting

Submit your portfolio and CV below.

An evaluation committee of European Youth Forum representatives and design experts with review all applications and five candidates will be shortlisted based on their portfolio, professional background, creative skills and relevant experience.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome during the week of 17 November 2025.
2. Concept Development
- The five shortlisted candidates will receive a detailed creative brief and relevant assets in the week of 17 November 2025.
- You will be asked to develop initial visual identity concepts, including logo ideas, composition suggestions and application proposals, presented in a comprehensive presentation.
You will present your proposal to the committee of European Youth Forum representatives and design experts during an online or physical meeting between 1–12 December 2025.

Each shortlisted candidate will receive an honorarium of €700 (including VAT).
All candidates will be notified of the outcome in the week of 15 December 2025.
3. Design Refinement & Handover

The selected designer will work closely with our team to refine and finalise the chosen concept.

Deliverables will include a detailed visual identity guideline and all required design assets and templates for digital and print.

The selected designer will receive a design fee of €5,000–7,000 (including VAT), depending on the agreed scope of work.
Who can apply?
We are seeking young designers or creative collectives who meet the following criteria:
Aged between 18 and 35 years.
Based in the EU and able to provide legal invoicing from an entity based in the European Union.
Experience in graphic design and visual identity design.
Able to demonstrate creativity and technical skill in your portfolio.
(Nice to have) A background in projects related to youth participation and European identity.
Show alignment with the values and mission of the European Youth Forum.
