In June 2024, young people from across Europe will exercise their important democratic right and vote to elect members of the European Parliament. Young people care, act, and speak up! We are the future of our societies and we should be at the heart of all EU decision making.

That's why together with our membership - we created a Youth Manifesto - with 20 demands across the pillars of democracy and participation, sustainability, digitalisation and youth rights. If implemented - these areas will vastly improve the lives of young people across Europe.

The relevance of the Erasmus+ Programme gains special light in the current context of global democratic backsliding. However, there are still areas where improvements can be made to ensure that Erasmus+ appropriately reaches all young people and supports the youth sector in Europe.
